Brimbank Writers and Readers Festival hits The Bowery Theatre this November to explore our community’s love of reading and the written word.
Poetic License Residency is a performance that explores the power and limitations of words through spoken word, poetry, rap, freestyle and song. This performance is the outcome of a two week workshop series where young local writers have collaborated with Rod Quantock (Australian comedian and social activist) and Kevin Nugara (speed rapper and beat box champion) together with Outer Urban Projects Artistic Director Irine Vela (director and performer).
If you want to be involved and aged between 16 and 27, please register at here, by 2 November.
Presented by The Bowery Theatre and Outer Urban Projects.
