Brimbank City Council and Creative Brimbank (Arts and Culture Unit) provide residencies at The Bowery and St Albans Community for artists, groups and organisations. The residencies provide a range of assistance including cash contributions, professional and creative development, and presentation space to deliver programs to and with the local community.

The Be Bold Performance Residency provides a professional development, creative development and presentation space for artists and arts organisations to make and present new work with and for the local community.

Room To Move Residency

A residency program supported by Brimbank City Council’s Arts and Culture team that provides the Bowery Theatre dance studio in-kind to individual artists and small collectives for training, rehearsal and/or experimentation without the expectation of creating a new arts product.

Are you passionate about storytelling, photography, collaborating with communities and elevating the voices of Women of Colour? The Future Lens Project is for you. Emerging artists who identify as women of colour (aged 16-30) are invited to submit an application for take part in the Future Lens project.
